Coravirus, the new worldwide problem

Humanity, since Its origins, has suffered losts of changes. The Earth from centuries ago is not even close to the one we live today, and so won´t be the planet in a few years. Changes come from many places; science, technology, human evolution, natural phenomenons, social movements, revolutions...

Following this line, diseases itselfs, constitute a primary source of modification from humans lives, as It is known, the have conditioned humanity in different stages of history. Malaria, The Spanish flew, Ebola, AH1N1, among others, have drastically modified the world at the moment they appeared. Nowadays, a new disease has shown up to affect people´s life, and Its short time on Earth, It has certainly done.

To begin with, COVID-19, better known as Coronavirus, Its a virus from the family "Coronavidae", highly related with the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). It was first spoted in the chinese City Wuhan, on December 2019. Nowadays, there are registered more than 150,000 cases and 6000 deaths worldwide, certainly, an outrageos number considering the fact that science on this days is very developed. 

Considering this, is very important to understand the origin of this virus and how this disease affects the human body. Coronaviruses commonly habit in bodys, there are many of them in humans and animals. The COVID-19 normally lives in bats, that means, there is a high possibility that the reason why COVID-19 has been registred in humans its due to the consumption of this animal, as it is normal in China.

However, the consecuences that this practice has brought to humanity are devastating. More than 6000 deaths around the world in only three months and recently declared as a Pandemic, it is certainly a fact of matter, considering the exact developement of the virus.

To begin with, Coronavirus can show up with syntoms such as fever, cough and diarrea, but, it can also be in the human body without showing anything. Therefore, depending on the person´s system, the illness can develop a serious pneumonia, conducing to death, if not, the disease eventually gets better and the person goes trough the virus successfully. The risk group is people 75 years or older.

Hence, the mortality of the virus itself Its actually low, however, the problem around the virus Its the facilty of  Its spread. COVID-19 is transmited from person to person, and it also survives for hours depending the object, therefore the reason why it has become a worldwide crisis. Crowded places are the best weapon to spread the virus, and unfortunately, many countries didn´t take the actions on time in order to stop the viru´s contagion. Nowadays, most of the world does not count with the enough amount of hospitals resources to take care of infecteds, that is itself, the actual problem of the COVID-19, that many people do not die for the mortality of the virus, but for the lack of assistance.

Consecuently, the actual end of this pandemic, is not even close to occur. Governments are fighting against the virus and looking for strategies to avoid the contagion, It is certainly a desperous sanitary crisis. Therefore, this kind of situations shows the world, how can the situation in there we are used to live, can be damaged  by a certain factor, and demonstrate that we are not as strong as we think we are.
